Description:
This is the perfect float if you are unsure about kayaking and just want to try it out, or you have some in your group that may not want to be on the water for a long period of time, or you are just pressed for time.  On this trip you will barely notice the communities of Hawthorn, Oak Ridge, and Fairmount City as you pass through them. But try to spot the area known as “Fish Basket”, which was once an Indian settlement.

Kayak Float #2

Description:
This is a great float for both the scenery and the length of the trip.  It would not be unusual for you to see all kinds of birds, water fowl, deer, and even a bald eagle along the way.

Description:
This float takes you several miles further north on the Redbank Creek than Kayak Float #2.  You will be able to enjoy the same beautiful scenery and wildlife as float #2 but for a longer period of time.  The last 8 miles are the same as float #2.
